Iman Ahsan joined Brown Law Firm in 2017. She earned an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Toronto and later graduated from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. Throughout law school, Iman was involved as an editor at the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues where she gained valuable experience in legal research and complex analysis and writing. She also worked with Legal Assistance of Windsor, Community Legal Aid, and Pro Bono Students Canada as an advocate for marginalized individuals in the community.
Prior to joining Brown Law Firm, Iman focused on serving clients in personal injury matters, including complex injuries, such as brain and spinal cord injuries. Her empathy and collaborative approach to resolving what are emotional and life-changing events are invaluable in her current family law practice.
Iman is an experienced litigator, having appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, various Tribunals, and private Arbitrations. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the York Region Law Association.
In her free time, Iman enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going on road trips and reading John Irving.
